Simply Pass Australia is an independent practice product. It is not made, approved, endorsed or checked by the Department of Home Affairs or any other part of the Australian Government. We have no agreement with any of them. The Department of Home Affairs says it does not endorse or recommend any external study product for the test. That includes ours.

We do not book or run the test

We do not book the Australian citizenship test, we do not run it, and we cannot change an appointment, a result or an application. Only the Department can do that. The Department sets the rules and fees, and its page shows the current ones. Please check them there.

Where our material comes from

Every question on Simply Pass Australia is in our own words. We base them on the topics in the published booklet "Australian Citizenship: Our Common Bond", which the Department publishes for people who prepare for the test. We do not use or copy the real test questions. Our questions are not the questions in your test. They cover the same topics, at a similar level. That is what practice is.

We have adapted that material: we turned it into practice questions and explanations. The Commonwealth of Australia does not endorse us or this product, and does not endorse any change we made. The booklet itself is on the Department's page above.

Names and symbols belong to their owners

"Australian citizenship test" and the name of the booklet are used here only to say which test you are practising for. There is no other way to tell you. We use no Coat of Arms, no Australian Government logo and no design of any government body.

What we do, and what decides your result

We write every question in our own words from the topics of the booklet, check it against the booklet, and fix it fast when someone reports a mistake. If you pass 10 full mock tests in a row with us and still fail the real test, our pass guarantee gives you free practice until you pass. It is on top of your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

We do not publish a pass rate, because we would need proof before we show one. The real test, its fees and its pass mark are set by the Australian Government, and your result depends on your own study.

The Department can change the test, the booklet, the fees and the rules at any time. We read the official pages and update ours when they change. We can still miss a change, so before you plan or sit the test, read the official page: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/citizenship/test-and-interview. Where the Department's words and ours differ, trust the Department.

This is practice, not a course

Simply Pass Australia is practice material. It is not a course or a class. It gives no certificate, and it does not count towards any application.
