Citizenship ceremonies in Launceston

This page is for people becoming Australian citizens in the City of Launceston area. Ceremonies are held about every 12 weeks, four times a year, at Albert Hall. The doors open at 1pm, and the ceremony begins at 2pm.

What happens at the ceremony

You make the Australian Citizenship Pledge in front of the people at the ceremony. You become an Australian citizen when you make the pledge, not before. After the pledge you should receive your citizenship certificate. If it is not ready on the day, it comes by post.
